“Where can we go on a Sunday that has a patio, good food & drinks, and a fun vibe?”
“Mars Bar – of course!”

With the return of the sunshine comes the return of Mars Bar’s popular Sunday afternoon gathering – SUMMER SUNDAYS. Beginning May 16th and going until the 1st weekend of October, these special days promise to continue to grow upon the good vibes that they started last year.

SIGN UP NOW at or facebook group page MARSBARSF to get updates on the weekly events.

THIS WEEK - special guest HALO (citydeep music), JOHNNY COLLECTIVE (remedy) and WILLIAM the MonQ

about HALO:
HALO credits his beginnings in Chicago and the original underground house parties of the Frankie Knuckles/Ron Hardy school of music for laying the foundations of his love of music. His residency since the opening of the legendary club Fabric in London, to his deep house weekly event in Las Vegas called H.O.M.E, HALO continued to bring deep house, afro, soul and tech-y rhythms to welcoming ears.

In 2004 he founded City Deep Music and continues to create new tracks and remixes with the likes of Mr V, Jay J and Joey Negro. In 2008 HALO moved to San Francisco where he continues to work with long time collaborators as David Harness, Julius Papp and more. HALO’s house is for the soul and spirit, not the cheap and commerical. As he himself says, “I’ve been DJing for (more than) 19 years and I love what I do.”

THIS SEASON – see new friends like JENO, GALEN and even a surprise out of town guest or two, along with the return of local loved ones DAVID HARNESS, JULIUS PAPP, RICK PRESTON, BRIAN SALAZAR, JOHNNY COLLECTIVE and more.

Mars is famous for their outdoor garden patio (not to mention their huge overhead heaters), where folks can sit, enjoy the sunshine, watch the game, and sip cocktails while the groovin’ tunes move anywhere from reggae to samba to uplifting house to classic disco and soul.
Come for afternoon lunch as their kitchen serves from 1– 5pm (they’ve been known to keep it going ‘til 6pm if the orders are still flyin’ in!). – try their famous burgers, addictive fries, fresh salads, and other dishes. Stay longer for more bloody marys, cold pints, blender specialty cocktails, and mojitos. With a friendly staff and solid drinks (no jiggers used here that’s for sure), we can see why Mars Bar is “always a good time!”
