Announces the 24th Annual Summer Nights Outdoor Music Festival featuring
5 Saturday Nights of Multi-Cultural Live Music
Kid Zone, Dinners, Dance, Picnic, Cocktails & Fun
Saturday July 9 – August 6, 2016, 7:00PM

The first of 5 Summer Saturday nights of live music, dinners, cocktails, picnics, dancing, a Kid Zone, and more will begin on Saturday July 9th and continue for a total of 5 consecutive Saturdays great live music, under beautiful Marin Skies in an intimate and beautiful setting.

7/9~ African Music Night: Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars
After a 10 year adventure that has taken them from the squalor of refugee camps to the world’s biggest stages, Africa’s most recognized and inspirational band kicks off our 24th Annual Summer Nights season. With fans across the globe, SLRAS’ music embodies and radiates joy, passion and love for their fellow man, and is a living testament to the resilience of the human spirit.

7/16~Gypsy Rock: Diego’s Umbrella || Marin Youth in Arts Teen A Capella Group ‘Til Dawn opens
Fresh off of BottleRock, SF’s celebrated Ambassadors of Gypsy Rock bring their unique blend of eastern European gypsy, flamenco, ska, Balkan and rock laced with a pop sensibility. A refreshing formula in today’s music world, Diego’s Umbrella’s unique, high-energy live show is a visual and aural experience you will not forget. * Dinners avail on-site from The Plant Café Organic

7/23~ California JamGrass: Tea Leaf Green || Beatbox bicyclist, Cello Joe opens
This San Francisco indie-rock band has an amazing, intricate, and dynamic sound that ranges from modern rock, to classic rock, to jam. What you are treated to is a variety of instruments coming together and creating the perfect summer fun music that invigorates your spirit and THE California sound.

7/30~Latin Big Band: Pacific Mambo Orchestra
This 19-piece Latin Big Band orchestra plays salsa, Latin Jazz, cha cha cha, bachata, and more. Their 2012 crowd-funded first album (self-titled 'Pacific Mambo Orchestra’) led them to win a Grammy in the "Best Tropical Latin Album" category in 2014. San Francisco’s Premiere Salsa Big Band.

8/6~Afro-Colombia: La Misa Negra
Fresh off of BottleRock, this 8-piece Oakland band plays a unique blend of 1950's & 60's style cumbia and high-energy, Afro-Colombian dance music. Powered by horn and accordion-driven riffs, a fierce rhythm section, and a vintage Colombian sound - expect an electrifying performance that explodes with infectious dance grooves and punk rock energy. More than just a band… It’s a PARTY!
