Since 2001, the Take Action Tour has been teamed up with the National Hopeline Network, 1-800-SUICIDE(784-2433), and thanks to the petition gathering and fundraising from fans, suicide and the mental health challenges leading to suicide have gained national attention in the halls of government. This year, The Hopeline has become associated with the National Mental Health Association and is launching the Youth America Hotline at 877-YOUTHLINE(968-8454), offering young people a network of their peers to turn to in times of crisis.
