Hidden Valley Music Seminars, in cooperation with concertmaster Roy Malan and conductor Stewart Robertson, has formed the String Orchestra of Hidden Valley comprising sixteen of Northern California’s most talented & accomplished string players. The inaugural November concerts feature guest soloist, violinist Farkhad Khudyev. “Some of the most evocative & stirring works in the history of music were written for string orchestra”, notes Hidden Valley’s general director Peter Meckel, “yet seldom do we have the opportunity to hear an ensemble that is dedicated to just that repertoire.”
