Enjoy a Victorian evening of storytelling and warning tales told live in a glass house. JOYRIDE, San Francisco's newest live storytelling adventure, is taking over the Conservatory. Each tale of personal experience told this evening will mirror a proverb or a warning tale, reminding us that they who burn witches love their coals, and that those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
At intermission, artists Mark Taylor and Thad Povey play the "Octoplayer," a sculpture that plays music, sings songs, and tells stories.
Come early and enjoy local food trucks and libations as you stroll amidst the greenery of the Conservatory's tropical galleries. Show starts at 8pm.
