As young teens, Stones Throw founder Peanut Butter Wolf began making music with friend Charizma as a means to escape their rural lives in San Jose. Shortly after, they signed with Hollywood Basic alongside label mates DJ Shadow and Organized Konfusion.

In 1996 Peanut Butter Wolf established Stones Throw Records. Wolf is one of the most renowned DJ’s in underground hip-hop. His label is known for consistently producing innovative hip-hop, deep funk, jazz and soul. The Stones Throw roster includes iconic artists, Madlib, MF DOOM, the late J.Dilla and more.

Now, Stones Throw takes to the stage with an all-star roster featuring head hancho Peanut Butter Wolf, J.Rocc, Percee P, and Madlib. This outing is Madlib’s first-ever nationwide tour. A track from each artist can be heard on Chrome Children, a Stones Throw/Adult Swim collaboration.
