Illusion of Self (headliners)
Illusion of Self is a rock & roll band formed by Frank Salazar, Miles Deiaco, and Raymond Jones. They blend the vibe and tones of classic 60’s and 70’s rock with an aggressive, emotional, feel of the 90’s while remaining modern and progressive. The vocals capture the audience with a slightly bluesy yet over-driven attack. Miles’ sultry low end on the bass lays a firm foundation for the intense array of guitar sounds. Raymond’s (Random Mysticks) intricate and hard hitting drum patterns force the audience to listen up and move around. This 3 piece trio came up out of San Francisco and wouldn’t have it any other way.

"How nice it is to take up a familiar sound again,” says I Am Animal, “and draw new lines from the traditional mouth.” A sound you think could be equal parts lighthouse and alleyway, tides surging and nightmares thudding. Or a story told with indelicate layerings of guitars, synthesizers rumbling and voices trembling with urgency. I am Animal is composed of Daniel Clark, Ryan Joseph, and Charles Scheinblum.
