Spring Break 1: March 30-April 3, 2015 from 9:00 am -3:00 pm
Spring Break 2: April 6-10, 2015 from 9:00 am -3:00 pm
Moss Beach Ranch offers fun and exciting camps that teach kids how to ride and care for horses. Children ages 6 to 15, beginner through advanced intermediate, enjoy five days of riding, vaulting, horsemanship, and much more.
Ride Every Day
Based on Certified Horseman's Association guidelines, Moss Beach Ranch Horse Camp includes daily mounted lessons and hands-on horsemanship instruction to help kids understand the needs and behaviors of horses. Campers learn proper safety, grooming, and tacking procedures and enjoy a variety of riding experiences and adventures. Kids also have fun learning basic vaulting exercises each day, which build confidence on horseback.
Each camper is assigned their own horse to ride and care for the entire week. This "ownership" opportunity makes the riding experience more rewarding and introduces campers to the responsibilities and joys of having their own horse.
Small Groups, Personal Attention
The staff of instructors and assistants at Moss Beach Ranch Horse Camp all have years of riding and teaching experience. And with a staff to camper ratio of 1 to 3, instructors can provide personal and caring attention based on individual needs and abilities.
