Founded in 1969, Sound City is the birthplace of many of the greatest recordings in rock and roll history. School of Rock San Jose students will perform songs like Neil Young’s “After The Gold Rush,†to the 80’s hits from Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, to one of the most heralded albums of all time, Nirvana’s “Nevermind,†Sound City’s unique sound sets the foundation for great recordings.
