DAYDREAM NATION was Sonic Youth’s sixth album, their first double, clocking in at 70 minutes, and their last for indie label Blast First. Having debuted the raw material at US shows in June 1988, it was recorded in July and August, previewed on a brief European tour in September and released in October ‘88.
