Something Collective, Pure Roots & Mystic Man

Moe's Alley presents a live reggae triple bill with Something Collective, Pure Roots, and Mystic Man, along with special guest DJ Spleece spinning tunes in between each set. Something Collective is a ten-piece reggae/fusion group from Santa Cruz that draws its influences from traditional roots reggae. Santa Cruz's own Pure Roots reflects the diverse reggae sound from the 70's and 80's and delivers it with a large ensemble featuring horns and percussion. Mystic Man is a veteran of the Bay Area live music scene whose influences come from Caribbean, African, and Latin American music traditions.
