Young People's Teen Musical Theatre Company (YPTMTC) culminates its 30th season with Showstoppers 30: Beyond the Stage, an anniversary gala celebrating three decades of performances by San Francisco teens! Former YPTMTC members from all over the United States will be coming back to perform "show-stopping numbers” in a one-night-only musical revue. The program features alumni performances by Broadway favorite Dominic Nolfi from the original casts of Jersey Boys and Motown the Musical, along with acclaimed film and television actor Amir Talai, award-winning voice actor Melissa Hutchison and many others. David Greenbaum (Mr G) directs the show, with musical direction by Sean Alexander Bart, both YPTMTC alumni. The evening includes a post-show celebration featuring live cabaret singing and dance party with San Francisco icon DJ 8Ball.
YPTMTC is sponsored by the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, and supported by Friends of the Company (FOTC). Founded in 1984 by Diane Price, YPTMTC has served hundreds of talented, passionate teens from all backgrounds, fostering a love for the arts and building community. This show commemorates YPTMTC’s legacy and honors its continued success.
