Kymberly Kj Jackson esteemed Flautist/Vocalist/Composer/Producer will accompany @PunanyPoets inside the beautiful space Imagine Affairs Art Lounge in Oakland for "Secret of the Pearl" 3:00 T Party on Nov 2nd for Women who Love Women. This special, once in a lifetime event will feature accomplished Poet/Actress/Musician LOVE the poet of Baltimore; Singer/Songwriter/Poet Theresa The Songbird (Verses & Flow); Singer/Songwriter/guitarist Jamila Fluker (Mimi & the Grapes); East Coast Dancer/Singer Charlie and Author/Activist Jessica Holter.
The Bay Area will be blessed when these women come together in the spirit of love and in praise of women! Ghetto Girl Blue presents Secret of the Pearl in Oakland for the first time. Join us for an afternoon of poetry, music, dance and art by women, for women.
The Art & Rhymes of Ghetto Girl Blue will be on exhibit and available for purchase, as will the amazing catalog of intellectual properties amassed by Oakland's prodigal daughter, Jessica Holter.
