details: anonEvents, Sunset Promotions, and blasthaus have joined forces to create San Francisco's most elaborate and decadent New Years Eve experience, Sea of Dreams. In it's 9th year, Sea of Dreams features exclusive live performances by the massive 12-piece orchestral version of world-electronic superstars Thievery Corporation as well as San Francisco's own national electronic hero Bassnectar.

anonEvents transforms the Concourse Center into a multi-stage, multi-environment undersea fantasyland, complete with 3 huge sound-systems, cabaret performers, circus performers, aerialists, contortionists, balloon drops, confetti cannons and over 50 massive pieces of inflatable art. Other live musical performances will include 20-piece indie-techno-circus the Mutaytor, Bay Area trip-hop heroes BLVD, brasilian groovers Boca do Rio femme-hop group Goddess Alchemy Project. DJ sets will be performed by NYC's "Basement Bhangra" superstar DJ Rekha, plus Bay Area mainstays like Motion Potion (Funkonnection-SFO), Smoove (2008 SFBG "Best DJ") Mancub (space cowboys) Little John (Raindance-Santa Cruz), Jef Stot (6 Degrees Records) Malarkey (Juke Joint-Sebastopol), and Maneesh the Twister (Surya Dub-SFO).

Audiences will be overwhelmed by an all-consuming assault of dance, cabaret and visual artists. The Do LaB, the set designers who have made the Coachella, Rothbury and their own Lightning in a Bottle Festival canvases for art installations will be on the scene to construct a "speaker garden" environment in the DJ lobby area. Reknowned performance troupe Fou Fou Ha!, physical theatre company the Carpetbag Brigade and Bad Unkl Sista and superstar hooper Shredder are among the performance artists that push this event over the top.

With thousands of people already coming from as far as the Czech Republic, Malaysia and Israel, Sea of Dreams promises to be one of the most sought-after New Years tickets in the United States.
