Learn the basics of screen printing, from burning an image onto a screen to transferring that image onto a surface (paper, fabric, undies, perhaps?) You’ll learn how to coat a screen, burn it using a vacuum exposure unit and how to use a press (tabletop and tee shirt press). There are over 18 water soluble ink colors for you to use in your printing. You will work with our house screens which include fun images such as fun phrases, spirit animals, popular graphics and many to choose from.

We supply several cool papers, patches and have some fun things for sale that you can print on. supplies needed: none, but feel free to bring extra fabric, paper, canvases, pillowcases, aprons, t-shirts or other goodies if you would like to screen Workshop images onto them to take home. we do offer limited items for sale that you can purchase to print.
For the holidays: We’ll have some special screens for holiday cards, postcards, wrapping paper and gift tags. You’re welcome to bring any special paper for cards or anything at all so you can print fun holiday things. Though we have some paper and craft paper for wrapping paper, our selection is pretty simple and you’re welcome to bring your own choice of paper, cards, etc.
getting your own custom screen for class & home printing: for an additional $45, you can send in your own custom images to be burned onto a screen (whatever can fit onto two 8.5 X 11 sheets or one 11 X 14 sheet) AND take your screen to print at home or at a studio. All screens use brand new 110 - 230 mesh count silk screen fabric stretched over recycled frames. An email must be sent to [email protected] that includes images and the date of your class.
