Description
Explore the perception and expression of color in the natural world and man-made environments. Play with color at activity stations hosted by Sharon Art Studio, learn where pigments come from in nature from the experts at Sinopia Pigments, and see what art looks like when reduced solely to its color elements. Experience Watercolor Walls, an interactive display by Anticlockwise in which your movements and interactions with others create a living, digital canvas. Learn about the color in coral reefs from Academy curator Gary Williams, and in the planetarium, explore the colors of the cosmos during a live presentation at 6:30, followed by two showings of Earthquake.
Music by Painted Palms, presented by Noise Pop.
