San Francisco Zine Fest - FREE

SEE EVENT DETAILS
We're back for our 18th year! San Francisco's premier zine and small press publishing festival, SFZF2019 will be on Sunday, September 1 at County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park.

SF Zine Fest is a FREE annual conference for independent and underground publishing. Exhibitors come from all over the world, and while the focus is on zines, all walks of DIY life are represented -- comics, arts and crafts, literary presses, and more.

We are a member of Intersection for the Arts. Intersection for the Arts is a bedrock Bay Area arts nonprofit that provides people working in arts and culture with fiscal sponsorship and resources to grow.

SF Zine Fest is thrilled to announce Lawrence Lindell as our 2019 Guest of Honor.

Lawrence is a cartoonist, musician and educator from California. He started making comics in 2009 while getting his BFA in Animation. His work focuses on mental health, Blackness, Queerness and healing. In his own words, Lindell says he makes comics for Black Women, Black People, People of Color, Folx with Mental Health Issues and Queer Folx. He has published "From Black Boy With Love," "Couldn't Afford Therapy So I Made This," "The Section," "The Garden," "Both" and a whole lot of mini comics.
