Description

Internationally recognized galleries, each specializing in museum-quality, pre-1940s tribal, textile, and folk art, display collectible and prized possessions. Artifacts represented originate from the Americas, Southeast Asia, the Oceania islands, Middle East, Cook and Solomon islands, Polynesia, and Indonesia.

The opening night preview (Thursday, February 9, 6:00-9:00 p.m., $150) benefits the galleries for the Arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas and the textile galleries at the de Young Museum in San Francisco.
