The events kickoff Friday with a cocktail party at the SF SPCA's Adoption Center (250 Florida Street). The party will feature an open bar, food trucks, bespoke t-shirt station, prizewheel, historical exhibit, Old West Flipbook photo booth, smooch the pooch booth, sponsor gifts and more.
Then come back on Saturday, October 5th, for a carnival-themed street fair on Alabama Street between 16th and Treat Streets from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The street fair will feature carnival games, food trucks, a beer garden, dunk tank with silent "bid to dunk" auction, face painting and balloon animals, free dental checks for dogs, freestyle tricks class for dogs, bike valet, and live entertainment including a performance by cast members from Steve Silver's Beach Blanket Bablyon. Dress up your pooch and enter the notoriously creative costume contest for a chance to win amazing prizes! Registration opens at 11am and the contest beings at 1:15pm. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet San Francisco's police horses.
