The San Francisco Center for the Book is a place where people can learn to make books--doing their own letterpress printing, artwork and binding--even if they've never made a book before. We offer daytime and evening classes, on weekends and weekdays. We also have free exhibitions year-round as well as numerous evening and weekend events that are free to the public. The Center also provides some free activities for children, as well as fee-baed field trips and classroom bookmaking visits.
