San Francisco Music Matters Asia is an inaugural two-night music event featuring Asia's top bands on their way to SXSW. Eleven bands, all renowned award-winners in their home countries, representing China (Carsick Cars, White+, The Gar), Korea (3rd Line Butterfly, Galaxy Express, Goonam, Lowdown 30, No Brain), Taiwan (The Chairman), and the US (San Francisco's The Gold Medalists), will be performing. This is the new wave of Asian indie music and we're excited to give San Francisco their first look at these artists.

The Chairman (2011 Taiwan Golden Melody Awards: Band of the Year - Nominee)
Special guests include Sony Music singer-songwriter Kim Jinho (formerly of SG Wannabe) and local Asian-American indie legend, Peter Nguyen and his Bay Area band, The Gold Medalists.
Tickets are $12 for one day pass, $20 for a two day pass.
