Taking a cue from the popular and irreverent international phenomenon of SantaCon, San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus Music Director Dr. Timothy Seelig has announced a hip holiday program entitled "SantaConCert" at the Castro Theater on Christmas Eve. The Castro Theater performances began as a way for people who could not go home for the holidays to gather and celebrate. The intimate setting and anticipation of the holiday arriving in hours make these concerts a truly "over the top" experience.
