The West Coast’s top designers are putting the finishing touches on Villa de Martini, the elegant Telegraph Hill home of the 2016 San Francisco Decorator Showcase which runs from April 30 – May 30. With an iconic location at 298 Chestnut Street near Coit Tower, the 2016 Showcase will feature more than two dozen transformed rooms and outdoor spaces along with sweeping views of the Bay and San Francisco
The exquisite Villa de Martini offers panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge and Richmond Bridge. Built in 1929, Villa de Martini was the first home in San Francisco to be constructed with concrete. The 6,100 square-foot home is on a triple-wide lot, offering beautiful European-style gardens with olive trees, lemon trees, roses, and Travertine stone patios and walkways. Unique architectural details include stone columns, arched windows and doorways, a vaulted living room ceiling and hardwood floors.

The 2016 Decorator Showcase will be held at 298 Chestnut Street (near Grant Street) from April 30 – May 30, 2016. Showcase is open to the public on Tuesdays through Sundays and is closed on Mondays, except for Memorial Day. Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (last entry); Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (last entry); Sunday and Memorial Day: 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (last entry). Tickets are $35 general admission; $30 for seniors (60 and over) and are available at the door or online. Group rates for 10 or more can be arranged in advance by calling (415) 447-5830.
Note about transportation: Parking is scarce on Telegraph Hill; we recommend carpooling, taxi or transit. There is a parking garage located at Francisco and Kearny Streets. Visit 511.org for transit options.
