San Francisco Performances presents the music of composer and vocalist Lisa Bielawa as part of its Salon at the Rex series. The concert celebrates the Bielawa's new album, The Lay of the Love, available in late April on Innova Recordings. The program features music from the album including The Lay of the Love and Death for baritone, piano, and violin and Wait for piano with drone; plus other works by Bielawa. Performers will include cellist Angela Lee, pianist Evelyne Luest, violinist Daniel Carlson, Lisa Bielawa, and members of the San Francisco Girls Chorus, of which Bielawa is the Artistic Director.
