Sake Maker’s Dinner
at Izakaya Yuzuki
We have invited Mr. Niichiro Marumoto, President & Owner of Marumoto Sake Brewery – makers of the well regarded Chikurin brand of sake, to give a talk on sake making and organic rice growing.
The brewery is located in Okayama Prefecture in Japan. Most sake breweries buy their rice from rice farmers. But Mr. Marumoto believes in farming his own organic rice to make his sake.
For this event, Chef Takashi will prepare a 5-course dinner for pairing with 5 kinds of sake for $100/person (excluding tax and gratuity)
The date is set for Monday, May 20.
