Saturday October 11th, enjoy a change of pace inside Hotel Nikko’s Kanpai Lounge, featuring music by Chicago native turn SF transplant, Michelle Musial.
It should come as no surprise that DJ Michelle Musial aka Michelle began her career in Chicago-the birthplace of house music and the same place that’s produced many of the industry’s biggest most envied DJs. “You can see Chicago in my bounce when I deejay,” she says. As a co-founder of “Sincere”, the first two-step UK garage night in Chicago, she ended up capturing the city in stride. After citywide acclaimed success, she eventually decided to move to San Francisco at the age of 25. Since relocating to the West Coast, she has stayed true to her Chi-Town roots while introducing local flavor, but it’s her original and innovative set lists that have quickly made her one of the Bay Area’s most in-demand female DJs.
Located inside the luxurious, and award-winning Nikko Hotel, guests of “Sake & Sound” can grab a table, order a variety of Saké options, along with light cuisine by executive chef Philippe Striffeler, a full bar, specialty cocktails, complemented by the deep house soundtrack provided by a selection of the Bay Area’s finest DJ’s.
