Annual Russian Festival will be held at Holy Virgin Cathedral, at 6210 Geary Blvd, San Francisco on Sunday Sept 28, 2014 from 11am to 6pm. The festival will feature ethnic Russian Food & Drink: meat-filled Piroshky (fried bundles of goodness); Golubtsi (stuffed cabbage rolls); Beef Stroganoff; Pelmeni (Dumplings) and Shashlik and of course, flavored vodkas, etc; Entertainment & Singing: Hourly performances by local dance, vocal and musical groups will be showcased; Choir Performance, Church Tours, Icon Painting, Gift items and many other activities. Please use Public Transportation, Car Pooling or Bicycling if possible however not required. Plenty of inexpensive parking is two and half short blocks away. Bicycle parking is available at the cathedral. Golden Gate Park entrance at 25th Avenue and Fulton Avenue is only four blocks from Cathedral. Come join and have a wonderful Sunday day of fun in San Francisco at the Russian Festival surrounded by wonderful food, wonderful entertainment and wonderful people and of course all Russian.
