Description

The most unusual run in Golden Gate Park is back! The 23rd annual Run Wild 5K/10K, hosted by the California Academy of Sciences, is the only race where herds of costumed cows, chickens, squid, cavemen, and other wild things compete side-by-side with serious athletes in a beautiful jaunt through Golden Gate Park. The race takes place on Sunday, November 25 at 8:30 am, beginning at JFK Drive and 8th Avenue.

Race fees will support Academy research and education programs. The race event will include:

- A wild and crazy costume contest in the 5K with cash and prizes
- A long-sleeve 100% cotton official race t-shirt
- Free refreshments & goodie bags for all registered finishers
- A Post-Race Party held at the Music Concourse
- Free entry to the California Academy of Sciences
