The future has arrived in San Francisco. Its home—Temple Nightclub's Future Factory; a monthly event that showcases the worlds most cutting edge artists at one of the most innovative clubs on the planet.

Friday, August 21st we’re excited to welcome global superstar Ruby Rose to the main stage!

Ruby Rose is admired as much for her conviction as she is for her elaborate sleeve tattoos. According to Rose herself, her strong moral center can be attributed to her mother, an artist and teacher who had Rose when she was just 20 years old. Together they traveled as nomads, living all throughout Australia -- rural Victoria, Tasmania and Surfers Paradise, all before she was 6 years old. She eventually settled in Melbourne and, by age 9, Rose was modeling. Rose came out as a lesbian at just 12 years old, and has admitted to being the victim of severe bullying while in high school. Nevertheless, Rose managed to place second at the 2002 Girlfriend Model Search and studied at the Victorian College of Arts in Melbourne.

With her deadly combination of edge, beauty, music knowledge, and general rock star abandon, it's no wonder Ruby Rose defeated 2,000 other contestants to replace Lyndsey Rodrigues as MTV Australia's newest VJ. Having completed a series of stunts devised by Jackass' Bam Margera, including drinking 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes, kissing random strangers on the street, smashing TVs, and skateboarding dressed as a koala, Ruby quickly soared to the top of the MTV food chain, becoming one of the most popular television personalities in Australia. Since landing her dream job, Rose has interviewed artists from all over the world including Sienna Miller, Katy Perry and Cypress Hill. She's also a huge supporter of the Australian music scene and has established herself as one of the hottest DJs in the country.

As if being young, beautiful and famous wasn't enough, Ruby Rose truly laid herself bare by admitting to the public that she is a lesbian. Since then, gay rights groups have deified her, and the young and confused have anointed her a role model extraordinaire. Rose has embraced her role as a spokeswoman for the sexually marginalized but is still annoyed when the press focuses on her romantic dalliances over her professional ones. After Rose was spotted locking lips with Australian rock star Jessica Origliasso of The Veronicas, the press went into a frenzy speculating about their relationship. The same thing happened when Rose was spotted kissing supermodel Catherine McNeil, who coincidentally is the model that beat Ruby Rose in the Girlfriend Model Search so many years ago. Only this time, the press was onto something, as rumors of the pair's engagement soon spread through the blogosphere like wildfire. Rose and McNeil have since denied the engagement.

In 2015, Rose joined the Orange Is the New Black cast in Season 3. Rose plays new inmate Stella Carlin, "whose sarcastic sense of humor and captivating looks quickly draw the attention of some of Litchfield's inmates."
