at Leo's (see times)
After the collapse of the glockenspiel bloated freak-folk metal band, Turf Surgery, Emily Beanblossom wanted to be part of community that celebrated private parts. She copped a bad attitude and traded her lee pipes for sweat pants. After the acquiring her feminine knowledge she was called back to her family farm to revert her metropolitian ways with the conjuration of hollowed noise that was to become Ruby Fray. After a short-lived bout of working on an apple orchard, then being reemereged into world of urban people, she played in a slew of Olympia bands and short-lived then abandoned bastard projects. Eventually, Ben Hargett (dry-witted technical mastermind) convinced Emily her Macbook demo diary style of recording is charming but juvenille and it's time to grow up. So she dusted off some folk who knew the Dub Narcotic studio and the labor took its course and birthed a spooky child of mysterious gender that at certain angles and in certain light was beautiful but at other times, a glace striking feelings of despair and remorse. The child was baptized in a Catholic cathedral on the outskirts of a town in an Edgar Allen Poe novel.
