Early in his career, Ronn Vigh's brash attitude and acerbic wit earned him a comparison to a young Joan Rivers by the SF Weekly. It was certainly a fitting comparison as Ronn later became a writer for Rivers on her hit E! Television show "Fashion Police." Ronn regularly performs at comedy clubs, colleges and festivals across the country and was co-host of the popular sports-comedy podcast, "Switching Teams: A Gay Dude & A Straight Dude Talk About Sports."

His biggest accomplishment: Working briefly as a flight attendant and not attempting to smother any of his passengers with a pillow. Yes, there were complimentary pillows on the plane when Ronn did that job. Please don't do the math.

Ronn Vigh previously produced the wildly popular weekly comedy series "Harvey's Funny Tuesdays" at Harvey's in the Castro for ten years. Funny Tuesdays quickly became a pillar of the Castro and comedy communities. It was a place where you could always expect the unexpected, whether it be a surprise guest appearance by Margaret Cho or a group of naked men standing in front of the windows throughout the whole show. Funny Tuesdays gained a fierce following and also won "Best Comedy Show in SF" by the Bay Area Reporter's Besties poll.

The weekly show at Harvey's ended last November and Ronn is returning with Ronn Vigh's Gay Bash! This new monthly show will feature a new line up of gay and gay friendly comedians every month at the world famous Punch Line Comedy Club in San Francisco. "It's not just a comedy show. It's going to be a real celebration of comedy and who we are," says comedian and producer Ronn Vigh. "The Punch Line is my most favorite stage to perform on. The club has been so supportive of me as a comic through the years and I'm thrilled that I get to bring a new monthly show to the venue, highlighting other incredibly talented gay, gay adjacent and gay friendly comics!"

Ronn has also worked as a writer for Joan Rivers on her E! Television show, Fashion Police and regularly performs at clubs and venues across the country. Ronn Vigh's Gay Bash will debut on April 5th and has been dubbed "Ronn Vigh's Birth-gay Bash" in honor of his sixteenth 21st birthday that week.

---------

Ronn has been performing stand up comedy for over 13 years. His brash attitude and acerbic wit lead him to becoming a writer for Joan Rivers' "Fashion Police" on E! Television. A "Joisey" native but veteran of The Bay Area comedy scene since 2001, Ronn is a "comic who happens to be gay" and can easily adapt to various audiences. Ronn is a skilled host, emcee, a paid regular at the major area comedy clubs and has produced the long running weekly comedy series "Harvey's Funny Tuesdays" in the Castro.
