Rolex Big Boat Series

Description

For 48 years, the Rolex Big Boat Series has provided stadium style yacht racing on San Francisco Bay. Over four days of racing, world class sailors - from Olympians to America's Cup sailors - will compete in this annual classic which features grand prix racing yachts from a variety of classes that race all over the world.

Race courses are configured to bring the boats as close to shore as possible, and great viewing opportunities are available at Crissy Field, Marina Green, and along the water front. The final race on Sunday showcases every participating yacht criss-crossing against one another as they sail from Treasure Island to the Golden Gate bridge and back, with the finish line set in front of the seawall between St. Francis Yacht Club and Golden Gate Yacht Club, and viewing is free!
