Description
Sometimes even the rescuers need rescuing. When a fire destroyed Pali Boucher's apartment last month, it also destroyed the headquarters of Rocket Dog Rescue, the organization she founded. Now a wildly diverse group of artists is coming together to help get Rocket Dog back on all four feet with a benefit beyond belief. Emceed by Eye on the Bay's Liam Mayclem, the night starts with comedy from Johnny Steele and Marga Gomez, slides into a hot track from Josh Klipp, segues to live music from honky tonk icons Red Meat and Bay Area supergroup the Parker Brothers, then rounds up with a glittering disco finale featuring diva Caroline Lund and dancing 'til the dogs howl.
