Robert Moses' Kin announces the world premiere of SILT, the Company's 20th Anniversary Home Season, for four performances only, May 14-17 at the YBCA Forum in San Francisco.
Artistic Director, Robert Moses describes the new work for his 10-member company, saying, "SILT is a dance of relationships and the silt of our shared racial, social and economic histories, which exist alongside emotional sediment. When seeded it creates new life and our knowing and unknown influence in others lives." He explains that the backdrop for SILT is a series of questions: What is it like to live an overly examined life? What is the nature of privacy? Do we bestow privilege in our lives or is it taken?
