29.86 acres: Opened 1971, the park contains picnic tables, restrooms, baseball areas, an aquatic center, tennis courts, and a community center.
Named for the city's namesake. In March 1999, the money to build a community center was approved. The 71,000 square foot, two-building complex includes a Senior Services Center, a Teen Center and numerous areas for community use and recreation.
