Dubtek
https://soundcloud.com/kschab123An engineer of intelligent grooves powered by loosely slung basslines and pinpoint percussive arrangements make Dubtek one of the underground’s most lethal dubplate architects. The brute force of his menacing compositions completely embody the Uprise Audio creed of strengthening a sub-culture of dance by delivering cutting edge bass music. The resonating warehouse approach has not only become the foundation of Dubtek’s productions, but the very fabric of Uprise Audio itself. It is no wonder then why the debut signee was chosen to head the label’s inauguration.
Having freshly relocated to Berlin, the Seattle native has had the privilege of exploring a new sonic soundscape. The European underground is a whole new ball game and the change in environment is clearly evident in UA001. The record’s propelling waves of bass echo the dark and gritty atmosphere of Berlin’s infamous warehouse parties. Appearances at ://about blank have certainly influenced Dubtek’s output, underpinning a trademark sound. With full support from the cream of the crop, Extension / Plus Ultra have been smashing the dance floors at every soundsystem event in operation.
Building a close unit of producers has become the norm for labels with a vision. A collaboration with Chewie due for vinyl treatment as well as studio time with label owner Seven, opens huge opportunities for Dubtek. Not forgetting Asylum, Nanobyte and newly signed Wayfarer, the potential material that will emerge from Uprise Audio is impossible to fathom.

Psymbionic
https://soundcloud.com/psymbionicAs a part of the upcoming generation of electronic music producers, Psymbionic creates aural experiences that demonstrate the possibility for multi-tempo Bass Music and culture to exist within a range of more divergent influences.
With this latest project, John Burcham has been moving bodies and turning heads for several years, playing with acts such as Bassnectar, STS9, Beats Antique, ill.Gates, Excision, EOTO, and Tipper. In addition to festival appearances that include Nocturnal, Wakarusa, and Sonic Bloom, Psymbionic demonstrates heavy involvement both on the stage and behind the scenes at electronic showcases such as his local SXSW in Austin, TX. Burcham’s work informs his repertoire with roots in the furthest reaches of the electronic music scene, and grants him a unique perspective on each crowd through the latest developments of the industry.
In a live show context, Psymbionic confronts mixes that are limited to the scope of the build and release, avoiding an industry epidemic of drop-monotony that overpowers the flow of music. Burcham seeks to prove that there are more powerful influences in moving a crowd than simple anticipation, providing an interwoven dynamic that relies on the strength of his blend, rather than the sole force or familiarity of the apex.
Psymbionic's theory of music is a journey that doesn't visit the same place twice, building excitement for what's next not because you can anticipate it, but because you've never been there before.

Deejay Theory
https://soundcloud.com/deejaytheoryRepping Faction Sound Crew and leading online Caribbean lifestyle magazine LargeUp.com, Deejay Theory continues to push the DJ / producer role forward in his homebase of San Francisco, CA and throughout the world. Creating music all his life and now a key player in the explosive tropical bass movement, Theory has a natural strength for producing and flipping a broad range of formats, putting his signature touch on everything from Demi Lovato to Mavado. Think dancehall meets club music, bass meets soul, turntablism meets rave, tropical disco meets the pool, and we’re literally just getting warm.
Years of dedication and passion brought Theory to where he is today, and the love and labor shows. Support has been massive with an independent schedule of US and international bookings and some of the top DJ’s, producers and tastemakers in the industry broadcasting Theory's work on global airwaves, stages and of course the internet. Day in and day out, from the studio to the club, you know you’re getting strictly quality from this dude each and every time. And although you never really know what to expect, the product, skills and devotion remain the same, and the people are ready for more.

Ro Knew
https://soundcloud.com/roknewRanging from vintage-sounding, organic hip-hop to futuristic, 808-heavy dubstep & bass music, Ro Knew's various soundscapes are tied together by the common elements of soul-shaking drums, thick basslines, and light-hearted but honest lyricism.
As a hip-hop artist, Ro has collaborated with the likes of Psalm One (Rhymesayers) and Qwazaar (Typical Cats), and shared stages with legends such as Devin the Dude, Raekwon, and Brother Ali.
In 2010, Ro Knew helped establish Ritual Dubstep with the Irie Cartel crew, and it has since grown into the biggest dubstep weekly in San Francisco. He has also put out several acclaimed DJ mixes and can now be seen throwing down heavy dubstep sets at various nightclubs across the West Coast.
Whether on the mic or behind the decks, Ro is able to move crowds by focusing on one simple rule: "Make the people feel somethin'!"

This is our resurrection. Our rebirth into a new era of creativity and acceptance of one another. With this renaissance we encourage everyone to be themselves, welcome one another, be crazy and free, and cast your differences aside, or better yet, embrace them. It is time to shed old notions and drama, and come together again with a fresh new beginning. A change we have all been longing for and a time to refocus on what is really important, and inspiring. With spring comes a new dawn for growth and expression and we couldn't be in any better company on this journey.
After every Ritual, Irie Cartel makes a donation to the Bay Area chapter of the American Red Cross. For more details on how you can make a donation please visit the following website.
