Ever thought about running away and joining the circus? Ringling Bros. Clown College® is giving Bay Area clowning hopefuls a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to audition to become part of the World Famous Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Clown Alley. No institution has been more intrinsically linked with the preservation and proliferation of American clowning than Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. Clowns could join a Ringling Bros. show touring over 80 U.S. cities in an upcoming tour.
Requirements: An overactive funny bone and a heart the size of Texas! Please come prepared to show, in a 3-5 minute routine, your ability to display exaggerated facial expressions and body language, your athleticism or any unique physical skills, an understanding of comedy, as well as a sense of your personality and why you want to become a performer with The Greatest Show On Earth®. Previous professional clowning experience is not required. Performers selected to travel with The Greatest Show On Earth® must be 18 years of age or older; however, younger auditioners are welcome to attend!
