Ricky Tinez (Aka Enrique Martinez) is one half of LA's cutting-edge underground electro-project Velcro. But before forming the duo with Kevin Ross, he was a San Jose local, recording solo house jams in his bedroom-a practice he continues to this day. Velcro plays a smooth variation of house with a gritty R&B edge. Tinez's solo work is in this same fashion, but a bit more experimental.
