Multi-instrumentalist/drummer/percussionist, Rick Walker has been on the cutting edge of music for the last 35 years. Although he has toured abroad as a leader and headliner in over 15 countries, he might be best known for his central role in establishing the International Live Looping movement, where he is the producer the world's largest live looping festival. In addition, Walker is well recognized as an adventurous modern composer, innovative equipment designer, musical curator, and respected bandleader. Look for this show to incorporate music from his groundbreaking world music ensemble, Worlds Collide, found sound/live looping solo work, indie rock music with singer/songwriter Chris Wedertz, plus his current melding of styles with contemporary jazz band, the Rick Walker Trio.
