Halanda Studio is thrilled to host the Original Turkish Romani Ensemble and masters of Turkish Romani music and dance, Reyhan and Husnu Tuzsuz from Turkey. Reyhan and Husnu exemplify the non-commercial, traditional Istanbul Romani music and dance, and have years of experience with cultural traditions. Mrs. Tuzsuz has been teaching Romani dance since 2001 and is highly valued for her ability to convey these movements, explain their meaning, and teach them to non-Roma women. Mr. Tuzsuz and has taught Romani violin style to several violinists from the United States who traveled to Istanbul to study with him.is a well-respected violinist active in the restaurant and wedding circuit in Istanbul.
