Enriching History aims to be part of a new series for historians, researchers, educators, students, and all persons interested in aspects of incorporating untold histories into a larger curriculum project. The series' mission is to influence the ways in which we learn and discuss the various experiences that have produced an ever-evolving country. This year are pleased to host a distinguished group of historical experts who will discuss under-celebrated stories and contributions of various minority populations within this historic period. The event will focus on uncovering the remarkable stories and contributions of freemason, women, African American, and Jewish forty-niners, as well as the culture that surrounded them.
In addition to the live presentation taking place in San Francisco, we will be hosting a variety of satelite sites with live-streaming of the event around the nation. We invite you to visit the conference website for more information and to RSVP. Please note the event is free and open to the public, with refreshments and lunch provided.
