As American Steel Studios' last art extravaganza before Burning Man, it will be a wild night of fire dancers, live performers, stylish bartenders and reverberating DJ's.
Starring DJ E. Feld, Mehndi & Jeff Stott (of Hookah Dome).
Live performances by Gregangelo and Dixie Delishs (of Velocity Circus), Dresden Blue, and Katya Madrid.
Examining a world made beautiful by its revolutionaries, Adare paints post-modern icons in classical mediums, from LGBT role models, to record breaking body-mod artists, to Olympians turned circus performers, to contemporary shamans and Native American rights activists. Incorporating her models' cultural sacraments as her stains and varnishes, albeit hemp oil, whiskey, nail polish, peyote, cremation ashes or blood, Adare's vibrant portraits combine oils with gold and silver leaf on archival quality Belgian linen.
The night will climax with Adare burning one of her original paintings.
