✮ Bestie Larkin Bio:
Betsie has been singing and writing since learning guitar from her mother at age 13, but the journey really launched when her first solo alt-rock EP was heard by the legendary DJ/Producer, Ferry Corsten, who in describing her said: “I listened to literally hundreds of vocalist/songwriters both known and unknown. The beautiful, dreamy, lush vocals and insightful, intelligent lyrics of Betsie Larkin completely blew me away. I knew that she was special.”

Betsie and Ferry wrote two tracks for his album, Twice In A Blue Moon, and their collaboration “Made of Love” exploded in the EDM world hitting Top 40 pop charts in Europe, and dance charts worldwide including the U.S. market.

After the whirlwind of working with Ferry Corsten and joining him on a 15-city world tour, Betsie cemented her status in the EDM scene with a number of high-profile releases with some of the best-known DJ/Producers. One of her next releases was “A New Day” which appeared on the album of German innovator, ATB. Her collaboration with Irish DJ, John O’Callaghan, “Save This Moment” dominated EDM radio and was remixed by British icon Gareth Emery. Her collaboration “You Belong To Me” with Russian superstar Bobina earned a Top 10 spot on the illustrious ‘A State of Trance’ Annual Countdown.

With her string of successful releases and a rapidly growing fan-base, the Dutch Black Hole Recordings, founded by Tiesto, approached Betsie with an offer to release her first solo EDM album under the Premier imprint. The album was released in late 2011 and proved Betsie’s abilities as a solo artist in addition to her credits as a featured vocalist and co-writer. Her singles sent waves through EDM radio gaining full-support from tastemaker DJs worldwide and high positions on the Music Week club charts. Betsie appeared live on Sirius/XM radio twice in 2012 and toured extensively to sold-out performances throughout the year.

In 2012, Betsie recorded another single with Ferry Corsten, “Not Coming Down,” which was described by Beatsmedia as “an immaculate annihilating ballad.” She also joined Gabriel & Dresden for their first vocal release in a decade with “Play it Back” (Armada Records).

In 2013, there is no slowing down for Betsie as work on her second studio album is underway and collaborations with more and more top artists are ready to be released!
