ReproRights! is an evening of short plays, monologues, and performance pieces centering on women’s reproductive rights performed in cooperation with 3Girls Theatre Company during their New Works Festival.
The evening will include new short plays, monologues, poetry, and song, including: “The Birtherator,” by Chardonnay Comedy, “Mama’s Hands,” by Patricia Miller, “Boy Imagined,” by Lorraine Midanik, “Backseat Betsy,” by Madeline Puccioni, “For Women in Shoes,” by Pamela Winfrey, “As of One,” by Laylah Muran de Assereto, "3 Nights" by Mia Romero, “Mom, This is My Abortion” by Evelyn Jean Pine, “Enough” by Susan Jackson, "Charlie" and "Maria" by Nicole Jost; "The Conversation" by Maggie F. Wilson, and an original song written and performed by Lola Miller-Henline.
The evening is hosted by NARAL Pro-Choice California, a political arm of the pro-choice movement. NARAL Pro-Choice California educates voters about reproductive rights in California, and provides resources and information for voters who want to support pro-choice legislation and elect pro-choice legislators. Amy Everitt, State Director, NARAL Pro-Choice California will introduce the program.
