Race participants can visit the REFUEL zone at the Health & Fitness expo to learn about the scientific benefits of post-race recovery, pose for a free my After photo and shoot a short video for the opportunity to join Team REFUEL – an exclusive group of athletes and challenged athletes who champion refueling with lowfat chocolate milk after a strenuous workout.
As a member, local athletes can earn a spot on the team and score a $500 sponsorship, training gear and free VIP race entries for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series.
As the official Refuel Beverage of Rock ‘n’ Roll, local dairies Berkeley Farms, Producer’s Dairy and Nestle will be at the finish line with 6,000 samples of chocolate milk helping athletes recover post-race.
