Five experts in aspects of real estate investing will join in a panel discussion of current trends and opportunities, Wed. July 15, at Trek Winery, Novato.
Sponsored by the Women’s Collective of Marin, this high powered event should interest people nearing retirement as well as younger individuals attracted income oriented investments.
Panelists will review opportunities available, current trends, relative risk of different types of opportunities, market outlook, how to research and do’s and don’ts. Tax strategies will also be covered, as will short term rentals through online platforms.
Real estate maintains its appeal for investors because of relatively low interest rates and many tax advantages this type of investing offers. Because properties are hard assets, many investors feel more secure when they are able to diversify into real estate holdings, to complement their stock, bond and fund investments.
