She is a 2023 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Nonfiction Literature, a 2023 Religion and Environment Story Project Fellow, and was a 2022 Literary Journalism Resident at BANFF Centre for the Arts. Nina holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Rutgers-Camden and lives in New York City.
