Description
The backbone of one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek, joins one of the seminal poets of the beat (& beyond) era, Michael McClure, for an unforgettable evening of spoken word & music. Flutist (and music series founder) Larry Kassin will join the festivities which will be recorded for an upcoming CD.

This performance is the first in a series of concerts celebrating the 25th year of The Noe Valley Music Series (and its presenting, non-profit organization, San Francisco Live Arts) by bringing back some of the great performers we've had throughout the years!
