Ray Brown's Great Big Band

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Ray Brown is the former trumpet player and arranger for Stan Kenton and Count Basie. He now brings his Great Big Band, one of the most exciting contemporary big bands today, to the stage at the Cabrillo College Crocker Theater. The Great Big Band's book, creatively written by Ray himself, gives literally all the players ample time to solo and showcase their talents. Since their inception, they have performed at such high-profile venues and festivals as the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Stanford Jazz Festival, Kuumbwa Jazz, and the Lake Tahoe Music Festival.
