RAWdance is proud to announce the return of Mine (2013), an evening-length work of contemporary dance created by Artistic Directors Ryan T. Smith and Wendy Rein. Inspired during time spent among the limitless stretches of fencing and barbed wire that partition much of the rural American West, Mine focuses inward, probing the human urge to possess, consume and control. Performed by the original cast of five dancers, Mine draws the audience into a web of carnality, with intricate set design by Sean Riley. Intimate performances are limited to approximately 60 people per night for this "intricately structured, excellently performed essay on some of our less noble instincts." (SF Bay Guardian)
